The story of Queasy begins back in 2017..
My daughter (Ruby) was a toddler and I was still navigating being a first time parent and single mum. With travel, I soon discovered that Ruby suffered from motion sickness. An unlucky gift I had passed on as part of my genetics.
During one interstate trip with my Mum, sickness struck Ruby. Here we were pulled over the side of a busy motorway trying to clean up a toddler and the car. As many parents can relate, not an easy feat.
Once back on the road (in a hatchback with a pile of dirty clothes and wipes) we thought there needs to be a better solution. This is where the idea of Queasy was born.
Our kits aim to allow you to 'travel with ease.' Including everything a parent could need to help a child that suffers from motion sickness on any mode of transport. These environmentally conscious kits include sick bags, wipes hand towels and a washbag. As someone who has suffered motion sickness their entire life, these bags aim to give children a feeling of independence and reduce the anxiety and embarrassment felt by the effects of feeling unwell.
